Gifting
The people who love them will want one too.
A Tailsworth portrait is one of the few gifts that's genuinely personal without requiring you to know someone's taste. You just need to know how much they love their animal.
You don't need to be a member to give a portrait as a gift. Upload the photo, describe what you're imagining, and we'll make it — to keep or to send.

Gift options
Digital portrait
A high-resolution digital file delivered by email. Perfect if you want to give the portrait directly, or if the recipient will decide how they want to print or use it.
Printed product
The portrait printed on whatever they'd love most — a gallery print, a pillow, a mug. Ships directly to them or to you.
Occasions
A portrait fits most occasions better than a generic gift.
A few that come up often. See the full occasions guide.
Birthday
For the person whose animal is their most enthusiastic guest at any celebration.
New pet
A portrait of them at the beginning — before they've chewed anything important.
Loss of a pet
The gift for the moment that's hardest to find words for. A portrait of how they looked, made from a photo you have.
Holiday
Something they'll actually want. Not a novelty item — something that earns a permanent spot.
Anniversary
For couples who share an animal. A portrait of the third member of the household.
No reason at all
The best kind of gift. Something that says: I know how much this relationship means to you.
When you don't have the photo
The best photos are straight-on shots with the pet's face clearly visible and looking toward the camera — but most clear phone photos work well. If you need one, just ask. People are usually happy to send a photo of their pet without needing to know why.
For birthdays, losses, new pets, or no reason at all.
No membership required to give a gift.
